Anna is one of the most
accomplished actresses in both television and screen. She has broken
numerous records, such as being the
youngest person ever (at the time) to win an Academy Award for her
career-making portrayal of
the deaf and blind Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker in
1963. She remains the first person under the
age of eighteen to ever win an Academy Award.
But the awards didn't
stop pouring in with The Miracle Worker. She has won just
about every award possible, such as Emmys, Golden Globes and a People's
Choice Award.
However, her awards are
not restricted to acting. She has been a champion for many social
causes such as helping the blind and the mentally ill, and making sure that
women have equal rights.
Please come to this
page often as we're sure there will be plenty of additions in the
future!
