Fan Review: Perhaps some of Anna's best musical works are included on this rare and unreleased album from 1968. Anna's voice is simply gorgeous and full of innocence. This is a collection of her most mature and serious recordings. Reasons are unknown as to why the album was shelved that year, but I must say whom-ever made the decision was a fool.
The album consists of many of the era's folk classics such as Donovan's "Colours" and Peter, Paul, and Mary's "Puff (The Magic Dragon)." Along with the folk classics are many folk originals such as the beautiful "And We Were Strangers," one of two songs that were actually released (the other being Dona Dona).
Being one of the lucky few to have actually listened to this album, my adoration for Anna's music has grown even further than before. All of Anna's musical work is quite admirable, but by far this is the best that ever was recorded.
