September 18, 2011 Anna will be appearing in Patty Duke Live in St. Charles, Illinois for a special screening of The Miracle Worker. This appearance will benefit the Open Door Clinic, a non-profit AIDS organization. VIP tickets (which include viewing the film, watching an interview with Anna, meeting her and receiving her autograph) are $60.00. March 12, 2010 Anna will be speaking at the Plachta Auditorium on the campus of Central Michigan University to deliver her story of success, loss, and living with mental illness. The event, "Have You Met Anna? An Evening with Patty Duke," takes place on Thursday, May 13, and will include a speech by Ms. Duke, an opportunity for questions, and a book signing. July 20, 2009 The Castro Theatre will honor Anna with a gala tribute entitled, "Sparkle, Patty, Sparkle!" The event includes a live interview with Bruce Vilanch in which they'll discuss winning the Oscar for her portrayal of Helen Keller, writing two best-selling books, and her recent stage triumph in "Wicked!" The event will also include screenings of "The Miracle Worker" and "Valley of the Dolls," career clip reels, a sing-along to the theme song of "The Patty Duke Show," and performances by Connie Champagne and Matthew Martin. The gala begins at 6PM with a meet & greet reception followed by the main event at 8PM. Tickets are $30 for the gala, and $60 for the Meet & Greet with preferred orchestra seats at the gala. Partial proceeds from this even will benefit New Leaf Services, NAMI Walk/SF Bay Area, and The Mental Health Association of San Francisco.
April 14, 2009 The Castro Theatre in San Francisco will honor Anna on July 20. The tribute will feature several clips depicting her career, a screening of Valley of the Dolls, and a live interview with Anna.
